A sír bejáratánál, majd egyre beljebb haladva:
Marius: "My companion drew in the dank, cold air of the tomb. It seemed to...strengthen him. I stood in the doorway between light and dark, what was left of my sanity implored me not to enter. But that voice was just a whisper now. As we worked our way down deeper and deeper into the crypt, I began to see a change in my companion. He seemed to be gaining strength. I could hardly see in the gloom, but my companion seemed to know the way. We came at last to a great hall."
Wanderer: "Aaaaarrrrrggghhhh!"
Tal Rasha: "Aaaaarrrrrggghhhh!"
A Vándor megindul Tal Rasha felé:
Marius: "It was then I realized my companion hadn't been gaining strength... He had been losing what was left of his humanity. He moved with demonic speed and then... then you appeared."
Megjelenik Tyrael:
Tyrael: "Stop! The beast contained herein shall not be set free! Not even by you!"
Elkezdenek harcolni:
Tal Rasha: "Look, what have done to me! Release me! Help me! Hurry,please hurry!"
Marius odalép Tal Rashához...
Tyrael: "No! Don't do it!"
...és kihúzza a lélekkövet.
Tyrael: "Fool! You have just insured the doom of this world! You cannot even begin to imagine what you set in motion this day! Go to the temple of Light in the eastern city of Kurast! There you'll find the gate to Hell opened before you. You must find the courage to step through that gate, Marius! Take the stone you hold to the Hellforge, where it will be destroyed! Now run! Take the stone and run!"
Marius: "What choice did I have? I ran."
A sír bejáratánál, majd egyre beljebb haladva:
Marius: "Útitársam beszívta a sír hideg, nyirkos levegőjét. Úgy tűnt hogy ettől... új erőre kap. Én csak álltam ott a bejáratban, félúton a fény és sötét között, maradék eszem utolsó morzsái könyörögtek, hogy ne lépjek be. De ez a hang már csak egy suttogás volt. Ahogy egyre lejjebb küzdöttük magunkat a kriptában, változást véltem felfedezni útitársamban. Mintha erősödött volna. Én alig láttam a félhomályban, de útitársam mintha tudta volna az utat. Végül beérkeztünk egy hatalmas csarnokba."
Vándor: "Aaaaarrrrrggghhhh!"
Tal Rasha: "Aaaaarrrrrggghhhh!"
A Vándor megindul Tal Rasha felé:
Marius: "Ekkor jöttem rá, hogy útitársam nem megerősödött... hanem elveszett belőle minden, ami megmaradt néhai emberi mivoltálból. Démoni sebességgel mozgott... és akkor megjelentél."
Megjelenik Tyrael:
Tyrael: "Állj! A szörnyet, ki itt raboskodik, senki nem szabadíthatja ki! Még te sem!"
Elkezdenek harcolni:
Tal Rasha: "Nézd, mit tettek velem! Szabadíts ki! Segíts! Siess, kérlek siess!"
Marius odalép Tal Rashához...
Tyrael: "Ne! Ne tedd meg!"
...és kihúzza a lélekkövet.
Tyrael: "Bolond! Épp most pecsételted meg ennek a világnak a sorsát! El sem tudod képzelni, mit indítottál el ezen a napon! Siess el a Fény templomába, ami a keleti Kurast városában található! Ott találod a pokolba vezető kaput, amely nyitva fog állni előtted. Össze kell szedned minden bátorságodat, hogy át tudj lépni azon a kapun, Marius. Vidd el a lélekkövet a Pokol Kohójába, ahol meg lesz semmisítve. Most fuss! Fogd a követ, és fuss!"
Marius: "Mit tehettem volna? Futottam."
