Lord of Terror. He is known to mortal men as Diablo. It was he who was
imprisoned within the labyrinth many centuries ago, and I fear that he
seeks to once again sew chaos in the realm of mankind. You must venture
through the portal and destroy Diablo before it is too late."
Hátborzongató e történet, barátom. Lazarus bizonnyal a pokol tüzén fog égni iszonytató tettei miatt. A fiú, kirôl szóltál vala, nem a mi hercegünk, de úgy hiszem, Albrecht még mindig veszélyben leend. A jel, melyet leírtál, bizonyosan egy téralagút bejárata, mely a labirintus szívébe vezet.

hátborzongató, kísérteties látomás.
Friss vér tolul szemedbe, s meghallod az elátkozottak kínzó
suttogását. Megtetted, mit tenned kellett. Diablo lelkét
börtönödbe kényszerítetted... egyelõre.
Fohászkodj, hogy elég erõssé lettél
uralkodni a démon vad akaratán. Bár küldetésed
megedzett, még mindig érzed õt, ahogy lelked rejtett,
sötét zugaiból tör elõ.
Ahogy harcolsz, hogy megõrizd uralmadat, gondolataid az õsi,
rejtélyes Kelet felé fordulnak. Talán ott, Aronakh
kihalt útjain túl, megtalálod a választ,...
vagy talán a megváltást...
